Blush is having a moment in the world of interiors. Pantone brought the colour to attention a few years back when Rose Quartz became the colour of the year. In 2019, Living Coral, another optimistic pink was selected and it’s proving the colour is here to stay. It’s no secret we’re huge fans of the sophisticated hue; if you haven’t noticed, just about all of our furniture is available to purchase in the shade.

For those who haven’t yet caught the blush bug, applying it to your home might seem a bit tricky. To help, we’ve put together a few ways to seamlessly incorporate the timeless colour into your interiors.

Paint a Feature Wall

If you’re feeling adventurous, go for an on-trend feature wall and dip the whole thing in a fresh coat of the playful colour.

Statement Piece — A Blush Armchair

For a more subtle approach, opt for a blush armchair as a stylish statement piece. The less-saturated hue of pink will bring a sense of warmth to the space without sacrificing sophistication, and it’s a great way to dip your toe into utilizing the dusty colour without too much commitment.

Style with Neutral Tones

Blush pairs beautifully with neutral tones; think grays, whites and beiges. The pop of a muted pink will instantly warm up a minimal space and ensure your neutral room doesn’t fall flat.

Artwork

We love a hint of the energetic hue in a fun art piece on the wall as a subtle and effective way to enhance your interior.

Pair blush with natural materials, like timbers, terrazzos, concretes and marbles. The rosy hue will add some dimension and perfectly complement your minimal, relaxed material palette.
